#374 - 1905 BSA SMLE Mark I .303"

A very fine example of the first SMLE rifle. This is an exceptionally rare pure MkI, it has not been modified to *, ** or *** status, as were virtually all British Army MkI's. It has all the special MkI features including micrometer rear sight adjustment for elevation and windage, bone inserts in the elevation slider, sliding charger loader on the bolt head, volley sights, magazine cut off, the unique and distinctive MkI nose cap and rear sight protectors, early rounded magazine and single screw rear sling swivel.
