This all original common numbered 1915 Enfield SMLE Mark III is fitted with a 1916 Aldis scope on J Purdey & Son mountings. The rifle has full MkIII specification and original woodwork in good condition. The bore refuses a .305” bore gauge. The Aldis scope, which is numbered to the rifle, has been fully serviced, has perfect optics, leather lens covers, and a leather case. Another exceedingly rare early WW1 sniper.
