Originally a 1900 Enfield made Long Lee. Converted in 1905 to SMLE MkI configuration and engraved, SMLE cond. II on the left hand butt socket. Later converted to other marks and the conversion dates also recorded on the left hand butt socket. Finally converted to .22 calibre by A.G. Parker after 1915 and marked A.G. Parker Pattn. 14 on the right hand butt socket . Sent to Australia and re-barrelled as shown by the markings. A very rare rifle with a fascinating history.
